Angela “Ann” Proctor, 86, residing in Milan, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 10, 2021 at home. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements. Ann was born on March 21, 1934 in Quincy, Illinois to the late Frank and Florence (Billingsly) Kreider. Ann attended Illinois Wesleyan University where she studied music. She was an active member in her sorority, Sigma Alpha Iota. She received her MBA in music and provided music lessons and instruction to many students over the years. Ann was a Rotarian and was active in the Lakeside Symphony Orchestra, Firelands Symphony Orchestra, and Northern Ohio Youth Orchestra Board and played in many quartets over the years. Ann loved “gadding” around town, watching sports, needle point, sewing, reading and listening to books on tape. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and family. In addition to her parents, Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph D. Proctor. Ann is survived by 3 children, Kurt N. Proctor of Sandusky, Justin (Rachel) Proctor of Medina and Andrew (April) Proctor of Milan; 6 grandchildren, Christian, Gwen, Kate, Jacob, Noah, and Kasen; brother, Stan (Shirley) Kreider of Virginia and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives. A private family graveside service will be held. Pastor Wally Gilbert will be presiding. Inurnment will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park.
